I had such a wonderful time visiting the great state of Michigan this past weekend. We arrived in Lakeside, MI on Friday night to have dinner with B's grandparents and stayed up late chatting about life. The next morning we had breakfast and headed north to Grand Rapids to visit K & J. When we arrived in Grand Rapids, we bundled up and headed out to the Apple orchard to buy apples, drink some hot cider, eat a pumpkin spice donut and walk through the orchards. Unfortunately, this year's weather has been really bad for apples and so there was no "u-pick" apples. No apples to be found in the orchard. We got a tour of Grand Rapids, a very cool town, and then headed to Vivant Brewery for drinks and dinner. We got up pretty early on Sunday to head back to the city. It was great to see our friends and to see where they live and work. I look forward to visiting them again soon!
