Open Shelving

I LOVE open shelving in the kitchen. What better way to display your nice dishes/china and a place to put all your miscellaneous kitchenware and vases. I think it creates a warm, homey and welcoming space. We have the perfect spot to put 2 or 3 open shelves and now I just need to motivate my husband to build and hang the shelves. Luckily, we already have the shelves that were from an antique kitchen cupboard, but still need to purchase the right sized brackets and find the studs in the wall so that they can hold enough weight.
