Weekend Recap

Okay, so the Patriots didn't win, I am totally fine with it. The halftime show sucked. Who is M.I.A anyway? And why was Cee Lo Green there? And Madonna almost fell.... three times. Lame. These people are not musicians; any one can sing or lip sync with auto-tune. My favorite part was seeing the Will Ferrell look-alike on the slackline.

The best part of the evening was spending it with friends and eating a lot of delicious food. We served up guacamole, cheese dip, bourbon glazed chicken wings, veggies & homemade blue cheese dip, Texas chili and grammy's white Texas sheet cake. I gave everyone cake to take home and brought some to work today. Knowing what went in there I didn't want it around our house!

On Friday night, we saw "Penelope" at the Steppenwolf Theater. We were eyeing each other the whole play wondering when it was going to end. It's not like a concert where you can leave if you don't like it. You're stuck in your chair for a good 2 hours. The 4 middle aged, overweight actors were in speedos the whole entire time too. Not a sight you want to look at for 2 hours. Can't complain too much since they were free tickets.

Overall, it was a really nice weekend and we had awesome February weather. Looking forward to next weekend already. Now, back to work.
